A Vibrant Weekend in the Spanish Capital
Madrid is preparing for a weekend full of activities that promises to attract both locals and visitors. From artistic exhibitions to food fairs, the cultural agenda is designed for all tastes and ages. As the weekend progresses, the streets of Madrid will resonate with music thanks to the Vermouth Session 2026 cycle, which features free concerts in various locations. In San Martín de la Vega, local festivities will include standout performances from the group La Década Prodigiosa.
Theme markets that transform urban spaces into authentic cultural experiences are also a must. The Medieval Market of Paracuellos de Jarama will offer shows and historical recreations, while the Xulo Market, located in Malasaña, will focus on vintage fashion with included musical sessions.
For families, Madrid offers a variety of activities such as free performances at the Retiro Puppet Theatre or car gatherings in Villaviciosa de Odón. Additionally, two popular train routes return: the Strawberry Train, which connects Madrid with Aranjuez offering fresh tastings; and the Cervantes Train, where actors recreate scenes from the Golden Age during a theatrical journey through Alcalá de Henares.
