An Unprecedented Celebration in the Spanish Capital
On March 14, Madrid will become the epicentre of Celtic culture with the celebration of the traditional St. Patrick's Parade. This event, which has been gaining popularity over the years, will feature the participation of more than 600 bagpipers, representing 40 bands and groups from various parts of the world.
The parade will start at 17:00 hours, departing from the iconic Edificio Metrópolis. The musicians will march along the emblematic Gran Vía until they reach Plaza de España, where thousands of spectators are expected to gather to enjoy the spectacle. This parade is an integral part of the IV Ireland Week, an event organised by Tourism Ireland in collaboration with various entities such as the Irish Embassy and the City Council of Madrid. From March 10 to 17, Madrid will offer a varied programme that includes film, sports, dance, and Irish cuisine.
