The International Record Fair Returns to Madrid
On May 9 and 10, 2026, Madrid will become the epicentre of music with the celebration of the International Record Fair. This event, now in its 28th edition, will take place at the iconic Palacio de Convenciones, a venue that has witnessed countless meetings between collectors and lovers of physical formats.
Over the course of two days, attendees will be able to explore a vast musical offering that includes vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and other discographic materials. With around 130 stands and 63 vendors from various parts of the world, this event promises to be a true feast for those seeking rarities and limited editions not found on digital platforms.
It's not just about buying records. The fair will also offer a variety of products related to music culture, such as t-shirts, posters, and books. This comprehensive approach turns the event into a space where music transcends sound to become a valuable cultural object.
Apart from commercial transactions, visitors will be able to enjoy live performances, DJ sessions, and talks with prominent figures from the music industry. These activities complement the commercial experience and enrich the cultural atmosphere of the event.
The fair will open its doors on Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00, and on Sunday from 10:00 to 19:30. Admission will be free for children under 12, reinforcing its inclusive nature. Additionally, dogs will be allowed as long as they are on a lead, making the event an ideal option for the whole family.
