The Magic of the Three Wise Men Will Illuminate Madrid: Everything You Need to Know About the 2026 Parade

An Event Full of Illusion and Tradition

On January 4, 2026, Madrid will dress up to welcome Their Majesties the Three Wise Men in one of the year's most anticipated celebrations. The Three Wise Men Parade, which will traverse the Fuencarral-El Pardo district, promises to be an unforgettable spectacle for both children and adults. With an itinerary covering various iconic streets, around 12,000 people are expected to gather to enjoy the magical procession.

The parade will start at 17:30, departing from Avenida del Monasterio de Silos, 24, in Montecarmelo. Along the route, attendees will see illuminated and decorated floats, accompanied by pages and street performers that will fill the atmosphere with music and colour. The route includes:

3. Calle Afueras a Valverde
4. Calle Nuestra Señora de Valverde
5. Avenida del Llano Castellano

10. Junta Municipal Distrito Fuencarral-El Pardo (Arrival)

The parade is expected to conclude around 20:30, at which point the Three Wise Men will be officially welcomed at the Municipal Board, where they will be presented with the symbolic keys to the district.

Given the large turnout expected, authorities have implemented a special mobility plan. During the event, from 17:30 to 20:30, there will be road closures on several main roads in the district to ensure the safety of both participants and attendees. It is recommended to use public transport, as several municipal parking areas will be affected.

Approximately 13 regular EMT bus lines (including lines 9, 66, 67, and others) will have their routes modified due to these closures. Local authorities suggest planning your arrival at the event in advance.
