The city of Aranjuez will have 400 affordable homes from early 2027, thanks to the Vive Plan of the Community of Madrid. AEDAS Homes will complete the construction of these blocks in the coming months.
From early 2027, Aranjuez will see the arrival of 400 new affordable homes as part of the ambitious Vive Plan promoted by the Community of Madrid. The developer AEDAS Homes has been awarded the construction of three blocks that are currently in the final phase, representing a significant step towards improving access to housing in this locality. The new developments will include options ranging from one to three bedrooms, as well as attractive communal areas that include a swimming pool and children's play areas, designed for the well-being and enjoyment of families. This project will not only benefit future tenants but will also contribute to sustainable urban development in Aranjuez. The initiative adds to other similar projects already underway in nearby locations such as Navalcarnero, where 318 homes are being built, and Villalbilla, with a total of 226 flats. Together, these developments total approximately 944 affordable homes across the three Madrid municipalities. The process for registering and applying for these homes will begin in the coming months, although it is estimated that the first tenants will not be able to move in until early the following year. This strategy is partially supported by European funds from the Next Generation EU programme, which underscores the regional commitment to access to decent and affordable housing. Furthermore, AEDAS Homes has been working alongside Sanjose Constructora since 2024 and has already completed over 5,000 affordable homes under this regional plan. Among its most immediate projects is another building with 170 flats expected to be completed before the end of this year in Torrelodones. With these initiatives, the Community aims not only to meet the growing housing demand but also to foster a more inclusive and accessible environment for all its citizens.
