Another aspect we often overlook is offline content downloads on streaming platforms. Spotify, Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime Video allow you to download content for offline viewing. Sometimes we download an entire season of a series for a flight, watch it, and forget to delete it. Those files can be massive. Checking the downloads sections of these apps often frees up several gigabytes at once, allowing you to keep taking photos without issues.
Reviewing Large Files
Finally, it's essential to understand that not all files weigh the same. A video recorded in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second can take up the same space as hundreds of photographs. Sometimes, the storage problem is solved by deleting or moving to an external hard drive just five or six long videos that we recorded by mistake or no longer need to carry in our pockets.
