The city of Fuenlabrada presents 'Los Veranos en la Pollina', a series of musical and family events that will take place during July and August. With performances by Nacho Vegas and tributes to iconic bands, the municipal centre becomes a key cultural point of the summer.

Fuenlabrada is gearing up for a vibrant summer with the launch of ‘Los Veranos en la Pollina’, a free cultural programme that will take place at the Centro Municipal La Pollina during the months of July and August. This event aims to provide citizens with an entertaining and accessible alternative, combining music, family shows, and tributes to legendary artists. The initiative includes two editions: the ‘Night Edition’, aimed at an adult and young audience, and the ‘Family Edition’, designed for enjoyment with children. Night activities will begin on Fridays and Saturdays at 22:00 hours, while family proposals will take place on Sundays from 20:00 hours. The inaugural event will be a tribute to Extremoduro, scheduled for Friday, July 10.

Throughout the month, attendees will be able to enjoy standout performances such as that of the renowned singer-songwriter Nacho Vegas, who will close the programme on Saturday, August 29, alongside his band Before The Blue. Additionally, there will be tributes to groups such as Mecano, Estopa, Guns N’ Roses, among others, ensuring that everyone finds something they like. This diverse approach will not only attract music lovers but also families looking for recreational activities for their children.

Apart from music, the programme will include family shows such as magic, theatre, and puppetry. For example, on Sunday 12, the family cycle will kick off with ‘Sing and Play in the Park‘, followed by other proposals like ‘Alice and Garabato: the Suitcase‘ or ‘Pomp Art‘, offering varied entertainment for all ages.

All activities are free until capacity is reached, allowing anyone to attend at no cost. This strategy aims to encourage community participation and make culture accessible during the warmest months of the year. Compared to previous years where similar events were limited or required paid tickets, this edition promises to be more inclusive.

As Fuenlabrada continues to establish itself as a dynamic cultural centre within the region, initiatives like ‘Los Veranos en la Pollina’ highlight its commitment to providing spaces where everyone can enjoy art without economic barriers. Organisers hope to attract both local residents and visitors interested in experiencing the best of summer in Fuenlabrada.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to enjoy local and international talent under the stars. For more information on specific schedules or additional details about each show, you can visit the official website of the Town Hall or approach the Centro Municipal La Pollina before the event starts.
