An Event that Sets Trends
The Spanish capital is preparing to become the epicentre of design and fashion with the arrival of Fashion Week 2026. This event, which will take place from 12 to 22 March, promises to be a vibrant celebration that fuses catwalks, presentations, and cultural activities, reaffirming Madrid as one of the major references alongside cities like Paris and Milan.
The kick-off will take place on Thursday 12 March, with an inaugural parade in the iconic Plaza de España. This event will not only mark the start of the festival but will also serve as a platform to showcase the innovative proposals of 72 designers and brands, who will integrate their creations with the urban environment of Madrid.
From 17 to 22 March, the prestigious MBFW Madrid will take place, featuring prominent designers such as Custo, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, and Pedro del Hierro. This edition introduces a new format that combines professional catwalks at Ifema Madrid with OFF events in urban spaces, allowing attendees to enjoy a closer and more interactive experience.
From 12 to 17 March, Omoda Madrid is Fashion will bring together 32 designers and brands, offering an impressive series that includes 18 catwalks, exhibitions, and performances. Among the highlighted activities are retrospectives dedicated to Davidelfin and collaborative trunk shows. The day of the 14th will be particularly significant with the presentation of Javier Delafuente.
Not only will the big names shine during this week; there will also be space for emerging talent. The EGO catwalk will celebrate its twentieth anniversary, presenting ten new designers who will bring freshness and innovation to the current landscape. This initiative aims to give visibility to new voices within the world of Spanish design.
