Next weekend, Móstoles will offer a varied cultural programme that includes acrobatics and cinema. The Plaza de los Pájaros and Parque Coimbra will be the main venues.
Móstoles is preparing for a weekend full of cultural activities that promise to attract locals and visitors alike. On Saturday, June 27, the Plaza de los Pájaros will host the Street Circus Cycle, where the Uparte company will present their show ‘Desprovisto’ starting at 21:30. This free event combines acrobatics, rhythm, and humour, offering a unique experience for all audiences.
The artistic proposal seeks to strip away appearances and prejudices, showcasing the artists in their purest essence. According to the company, “plasticity, flexibility, and change” are key elements in this performance that promises a high level of acrobatic technique.
At the same time, on the same day, the film ‘¡Salta!’ will be screened at the Summer Cinema at 22:00 in Parque Coimbra. This science fiction film tells the touching story of two brothers facing the disappearance of their scientist mother in the summer of 1989. The film is based on a previous short film titled ‘Einstein-Rosen’, also directed by its creator.
On Sunday, June 28, the cultural offerings will continue with a didactic piano concert by Mª Icíar Serrano Quiñones at the City Museum at 12:00. Admission is free with an invitation, which must be collected in advance at the museum.
Additionally, the Caleidoscopio Sociocultural Centre currently hosts the exhibition ‘The Art of Being Different’, where students from IES Europa showcase their artistic works reflecting diverse perspectives on reality. This exhibition stands out for its multidisciplinary approach and creativity.
Until tomorrow, other exhibitions can also be visited, such as ‘The Precision of Colour’ by artist Paco Martín, as well as ‘Feline Gazes’, organised by the Espacio Fluido Painting Workshop under the direction of Professor Jesús Vizuete.
