This Saturday, Móstoles will host 'Voces de España', a tribute to Manolo Escobar and Isabel Pantoja. The free cultural activities will extend until Sunday with cinema and family theatre.
Móstoles is preparing for a vibrant cultural weekend that promises entertainment for the whole family. This Saturday, the Plaza de la Cultura will be the stage for the show ‘Voces de España’, which will pay tribute to two great figures of Spanish music: Manolo Escobar and Isabel Pantoja. The event will start at 21:30 hours and will feature some of the most emblematic songs of both artists, attracting both loyal fans and new listeners.
The cultural programme doesn’t stop there. On Sunday, also in the Plaza de la Cultura and at the same time, a Latin ballet show will be presented, thus closing a schedule full of artistic activities.
Starting from Friday, the events will kick off with a circus proposal. The artist Maple Staplegun will bring her show ‘Breaking Broken Dreams’ to the Plaza del Sol of PAU-4, where she will combine acrobatics and humour in a performance that promises to be memorable.
Additionally, on Saturday night there will be an outdoor screening as part of the ‘Summer Cinema’ programme. The chosen film is ‘Lilo and Stitch’ (2025), which will be screened at 22:00 hours in the park in front of the market of Parque Coimbra. This activity is ideal for enjoying with family under the stars.
Not only will there be music and cinema; on Sunday morning a family theatre performance is scheduled. The Tropos Puppet Theatre company will present their adaptation of ‘Snow White’ at 11:00 hours in the Puppet Theatre of Finca Liana. This performance will be free until full capacity is reached, offering a perfect opportunity to introduce the little ones to the world of theatre.
The cultural agenda also includes an exhibition titled ‘Popular Music: a photographic view’, organised in conjunction with the Itiner Network of the Community of Madrid. This exhibition will be available until this Sunday in the Column Room of the Villa de Móstoles Cultural Centre, providing another interesting option for visitors.
Móstoles has proven to be a hub for diverse cultural activities, recalling past events such as the music festival held three years ago that attracted thousands. With this new free programme, it is expected that both residents and visitors will fully enjoy local art and entertainment throughout the weekend.
