Every Saturday in August, locals and visitors can enjoy films in the park in front of the Zoco, located at the intersection of Castaño and Eucalipto streets, in Parque Coimbra. The first screening will be this Saturday, August 1st at 22:00 with the film ‘The Ark of Noah’ (2024), an animated feature nominated for Best Film at the Platino Awards. The story follows two mice, Vini and Tito, who infiltrate the ark to prevent a conflict between carnivores and herbivores.
A week later, the cycle will continue on Saturday, August 8th with ‘Lilo and Stitch’ (2025), a live-action remake that tells the heartwarming friendship between a Hawaiian girl and a fugitive alien. This adaptation promises to attract both younger audiences and those who enjoyed the classic animated version.
The event will culminate on August 15th with the screening of ‘A Minecraft Movie’ (2025), starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black. This film brings the popular video game universe to the big screen, promising fun for the whole family.
