Parla is preparing to host the seventh edition of the 'Verano en el Botánico' programme, which will begin on July 3 and run until August 30. This cultural event promises a varied artistic offering with a total of 27 shows scheduled for the weekends, in addition to three masterclasses. Activities will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, turning the Botánico into a hub of summer entertainment.
Fridays will be dedicated to comedy and sarcastic humour under the theme 'A-Ríes-Gate'. Featured artists include Chupi la Canalla, David Andrés García, and Ganso & Cía. The performances promise laughter with titles such as “Vaga y maleante” and “El bar de cada día”. This initiative aims to attract a diverse audience looking to enjoy performing arts in a relaxed environment.
Saturdays will be dedicated to music with 'Voces con alma', where artists like Myriam Swanson, Vinila Von Bismark, and Nuria Culla will offer concerts covering genres such as jazz, blues, soul, and rock. Additionally, there will be three masterclasses taught by renowned singing figures: Astrid Jones, María la Mónica, and Sofía Comas. This musical focus aims to enrich the local cultural experience and encourage new talents.
Not only adults will enjoy the programme; Sundays are reserved for families with the cycle 'Títeres sin confín'. Nine children's theatre performances have been scheduled, including beloved titles such as “La selva” and “La doncella guerrera”. These shows are designed to entertain the little ones while fostering their imagination.
Access to these events is very affordable. Prices range from 1 euro for Sunday performances to 7 euros for Saturday concerts. Advance tickets will be available through Bancatix, making it even easier for the public to attend. This economic model aims to ensure that everyone can enjoy the arts without financial constraints.
In addition to the artistic performances, Verano en el Botánico will also feature an open terrace service exclusively for attendees. This space will be available until 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, offering an ideal option to relax after enjoying the show. On Sundays, it will close earlier, at 11:30 PM.
As the inaugural date approaches, Parla is positioning itself as a key cultural destination this summer. With a diverse programme designed for all tastes and interests, Verano en el Botánico promises to be an unforgettable experience for both residents and visitors.
