A historic greeting at the Royal Palace
The arrival of Pope Leo XIV in Spain has marked the beginning of a series of solemn events that underscore the historical relationship between the country and the Holy See. At an event held at the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Pontiff was received by the highest state authorities, including King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, and their daughters, Princess of Asturias Leonor and Infanta Sofía.
