An Event Full of Excitement and Tradition
The Three Wise Men Parade has established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Christmas calendar in Madrid, and the district of San Blas-Canillejas is no exception. This year, the parade will take place on January 4, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM. The event promises to be a vibrant spectacle that will bring together thousands of families to celebrate the arrival of Their Majesties.
The route of the event is designed so that all residents can enjoy it. The royal procession will depart from Calle San Román del Valle, passing through various streets such as Avenida Alberique, Calle Julia García Boután, and culminating at the Torre Arias Social Services Centre. This route will encompass a total of 18 stops, where a massive turnout of up to 18,000 people is expected.
Given the magnitude of the event, a special mobility plan will be implemented, which will include road closures and diversions on the streets affected by the parade. These changes will begin at 5:00 PM, while some roads will be closed early in the morning to facilitate preparations. Drivers should be attentive to the signs and restrictions that will be announced in advance.
Apart from vehicular traffic, there will also be modifications to public transport. Nine bus lines operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) will have their routes altered during the event, which could affect many regular users.
Upon reaching the end of the route, the Three Wise Men will receive the golden keys of the district, a symbolic gesture representing their connection to the local community. This culminating moment will be accompanied by greetings and thanks to all those present, creating a magical atmosphere that will be etched in the collective memory.
There is no doubt that this parade is a celebration that combines tradition and modernity, offering a space where both young and old can share unforgettable moments.
