emeis has appointed Raquel Ramírez Ochoa as the new Human Resources Director for Spain and Portugal. With this appointment, the company strengthens its management team in the Iberian Peninsula, where it is a leader in the field of care for the elderly and dependent individuals, mental health, and neurorehabilitation.
As HR Director, Ramírez Ochoa will have the primary objective of driving the human talent management strategy of a growing company that has more than 7,500 employees in Spain and Portugal, attending daily to thousands of residents, patients, and users. The emeis team consists of multidisciplinary profiles: nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, cooks, maintenance staff, cleaning personnel, etc.
Ramírez Ochoa brings a solid track record in attracting and retaining specialised talent, an expertise crucial for strengthening the employer brand and addressing the constant challenges of the sector. She has extensive experience leading Human Resources areas in large corporations and complex operational environments. She has served as HR Director for Otis Spain (Zardoya Otis) and later for Otis in Iberia and Africa. Previously, she was a director at Acciona Facility Service, as well as at Acciona Service within the same group, and director of labour relations at Grupo Eulen.
