The spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Assembly, Manuela Bergerot, has confirmed that her party will begin to study possible electoral alliances for the 2027 elections. During a press conference held this Tuesday alongside Rita Maestre, the opposition leader in the Madrid City Council, Bergerot emphasized that currently "the electoral cycle is not open" and therefore there are no active negotiations regarding coalitions. However, she assured that they are willing to explore all available options at the start of the electoral process. "As we did in 2023," stated Bergerot, "we will study all the best formulas to win municipalities and the Community of Madrid". This statement underscores the party's intention to consolidate its position in an increasingly competitive political context. In this regard, the spokesperson highlighted that Más Madrid is the only political force capable of confronting the Popular Party led by José Luis Martínez Almeida and Isabel Díaz Ayuso. Despite the focus on their own strategies, Bergerot was cautious when referring to other political formations such as Podemos and its general secretary Ione Belarra:
"From our party, we do not comment on the decisions of other organizations".
