The neighbourhood of Ciudad 70 in Coslada has welcomed a new water play area, inaugurated this Friday and designed especially for children's enjoyment. This facility is located along the promenade next to Buero Vallejo park and will be operational during the summer months, providing families with an ideal place to cool off and have fun. The project has been carried out by the Area of Roads and Works of the City Council, which was responsible for both the construction and the installation of the various elements that make up this attractive play space. The established hours for its use are every day from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. The councillor for Territorial Policy, José Sousa, highlighted the importance of this initiative by stating that it represents "a clear example of the optimisation of public resources and the promotion of the circular economy." He also emphasised that this new area not only provides fun for children but also promotes family coexistence in a safe and accessible environment. This new space adds to the existing park in Plaza del Mar Caribe, located in the Puerto neighbourhood. The creation of these recreational areas responds to a growing trend in Coslada to improve urban quality of life through facilities that encourage healthy leisure among the younger population. With future plans to expand this type of facility to other areas of the municipality, the City Council aims to ensure that more families can enjoy the summer without going too far.
