Swift police intervention in alarming case
The National Police has carried out a crucial operation in the Moratalaz district of Madrid, where a 28-year-old man was arrested for his alleged involvement in grooming activities. This individual posed as a teenager to lure girls through social media, seeking to obtain sexual material in exchange for money. The intervention was triggered after receiving a disturbing alert about a 14-year-old girl who had expressed suicidal thoughts on TikTok.
Initial investigations revealed that the minor was suffering from bullying and had been contacted by this adult who was hiding behind the facade of a young person. The arrested individual not only requested sexual images and video calls but also threatened to disseminate the obtained material if the victims did not comply with his demands. In an attempt to take his manipulation further, he even tried to arrange a physical meeting with a girl at a bus station in Toledo, although the minor managed to escape upon realizing the danger.
Officers were able to identify the suspect in less than 24 hours, finding him hiding in his home. During the search of the premises, deplorable conditions were discovered: the presence of excrement from four dogs cohabiting with him inside the house. Furthermore, investigators suspect that he used his twin brother's identity to avoid detection.
The arrested man has been linked to at least five victims, all part of the same social group and some facing psychological disorders. As he gained their trust, he offered between 100 and 300 euros in exchange for the requested sexual material. If any girl refused to cooperate, he did not hesitate to use the obtained images as a tool to humiliate or pressure them.
During the police operation, two mobile phones filled with audiovisual content related to the victims and numerous chats were seized, which are being meticulously analyzed by investigators. The arrested individual already had four previous court orders and now faces serious charges such as grooming, corruption of minors, and improper disclosure of secrets. After being presented before the judicial authority, his immediate imprisonment has been ordered.
