No less fascinating is the public debut of the young king penguin named Popi. At just seven months old, Popi still sports his characteristic brown down before shedding it for the bright yellow chest typical of his species. His name pays tribute to marine biologist Pablo García Borboroglu, founder of the Global Penguin Society, adding a special touch to his story.
Alongside Benni and Angie are the new meerkat pups, playful little creatures that are already exploring their surroundings under the watchful parental eye. These adorable additions are just part of the educational appeal that Faunia offers during this festive season.
In addition to direct contact with these fascinating animals, Faunia will also provide educational talks during weekends and holidays. These sessions are designed to inform about the threats faced by various species and the conservation efforts being made at the park.
The traditional Easter camps, scheduled for March 27, 30, and 31, as well as April 1 and 6, will offer immersive experiences in nature. From educational trails to interactive workshops, each activity is designed to encourage fun learning about some of the planet's most amazing species.
