A turbulent day in the Community of Madrid
This Tuesday, residents of the Community of Madrid should be prepared to face adverse weather conditions. The State Meteorological Agency has issued a yellow warning due to the strong wind gusts expected in the high areas of the Sierra, where they could reach up to 80 km/h.
Throughout the day, a slight increase in minimum temperatures is anticipated, while maximums will experience subtle changes. In particular, there is a possibility of some scattered and weak frosts on the mountain peaks. Thermometers will range between 9ºC and 21ºC in Madrid, with similar variations in other locations such as Alcalá de Henares (8ºC to 22ºC) and Aranjuez (10ºC to 23ºC).
Despite the strong wind, the rest of the region will mostly enjoy mostly clear skies. However, low cloud intervals are expected at the beginning and end of the day, accompanied by scattered fog, especially in mountainous areas.
Given the intensity of the forecasted wind, it is advisable for citizens to take precautions when going out. It is recommended to avoid outdoor activities that may be affected by sudden gusts and to secure loose objects that could be blown away by the wind.
As the week progresses, meteorologists will continue to monitor the weather conditions to provide updates on possible changes. The combination of strong winds and variable temperatures could create an unstable environment for several consecutive days.
