The Community of Madrid experiences a start to the week with temperatures exceeding 34 degrees. Alcalá de Henares and Aranjuez are among the towns most affected by the heat.
High temperatures continue to dominate the Community of Madrid, where maximums are expected to range between 34 and 35 degrees throughout the day. This weather phenomenon is due to a stable day with clear skies, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). Towns such as Alcalá de Henares, Aranjuez, Leganés, and Pinto will be the most affected, reaching extreme values.
Despite the intense heat, the northeast wind will provide some relief during the central hours of the day, especially in mountainous areas. In the capital, Madrid, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 34 degrees, while the minimum will be around 20 degrees.
As the day progresses, weather conditions will remain favourable for outdoor activities; however, it is important to take precautions against the risk of heat strokes. The average relative humidity will range between 42% and 47%, which could increase the thermal sensation.
Compared to previous years, this start of summer has shown a pattern similar to that recorded in June 2025, when consecutive days with temperatures above 30 degrees were also reported. However, this year seems to be particularly intense due to a prolonged heatwave.
As we move towards the end of the month, citizens are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours. For those planning to go out and enjoy the good weather, it is advisable to schedule activities for the early hours of the day or at sunset.
