A celebration of Latin culture in the Spanish capital
From April 9 to 19, Madrid will become the epicentre of Latin American culture thanks to the first edition of the ‘Latineando’ festival. This free event, taking place at the Plaza de Toros de San Sebastián de los Reyes, promises to be a sensory journey through the gastronomy, music, and traditions of Latin America.
One of the main attractions of the festival will be the Calle del Sabor, where a variety of food trucks will offer typical dishes representative of different Latin American countries. From a delicious Argentinian grill to traditional specialties from Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, attendees will have the opportunity to taste a wide range of flavours. This space is designed to promote cultural and culinary exchange, turning each visit into a unique experience.
It’s not just about food; ‘Latineando’ will also feature a vibrant musical programme. In La Plaza, the main stage will host live performances and DJ sessions inviting everyone to dance to the Latin rhythm. For those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, the Rincón Latino will offer a cosy space dedicated to cocktails, ideal for enjoying between tastings or simply resting while sipping a typical drink.
Throughout the festival, themed nights will be organised, with each day dedicated to a different country. These nights will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the specific cultural and musical traditions of nations such as Venezuela, Colombia, or Mexico, further enriching this multicultural experience.
‘Latineando’ offers extensive hours to accommodate different plans. Visitors can enjoy the event during:
- Thursday: 18:30 – 00:30 hours
- Friday: 18:30 – 01:00 hours
- Saturdays: 12:00 – 01:00 hours
- Sundays: 12:00 – 00:00 hours
This flexibility allows for both family meals and dinners with friends over the weekend.
