A musical phenomenon in the Spanish capital

The iconic Colombian singer Shakira has once again surprised her followers by announcing three new concerts in Madrid, bringing the total to nine dates for her highly anticipated European residency. The artist will perform at the Iberdrola Music, which during this event will transform into the ephemeral Macondo Park, a space specifically designed to host her show titled Women Don't Cry Anymore.

The new concerts are scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4, generating great anticipation among her fans. The presale of tickets began this Wednesday, with a staggered system allowing fans to purchase tickets in phases. At 10:00 AM, tickets for the shows on September 25, 26, and 27 were made available; at 10:30, it was time for the new dates; and at 12:00, sales opened for the initial days of the event.

The ‘Shakira Stadium’, as this temporary venue has been dubbed, will cover an area of 40 hectares and will have the capacity to host up to 50,000 people. This ambitious project has sparked controversy, as the Government Delegation in Madrid has attempted to halt its construction. Francisco Martín, a government representative, sent a letter urging local authorities to reconsider the event's authorization.

As the concert dates approach, excitement among Shakira's followers grows exponentially. The artist is not only known for her catchy music and emotive lyrics but also for her visually stunning performances that promise to be unforgettable.

Aside from the musical appeal, these concerts represent a significant opportunity for tourism and the local economy. Thousands of visitors are expected to arrive in Madrid not only to enjoy the music but also to explore what the city has to offer during those days.

General sales will begin on March 27, maintaining the same staggered format used in the presale. Organizers have assured that this strategy will allow for more equitable access for all interested fans.
