This Tuesday, Arsenal FC wrote a new chapter in its history by being crowned champions of the 2025-26 Premier League, ending a drought that lasted 22 years. Excitement and jubilation erupted in London as the team achieved this milestone, which not only represents another trophy in their cabinet but also a symbol of perseverance and rebirth.
Arsenal's crowning occurred even before they took to the field for their own match. Manchester City, their main title competitor, failed to overcome AFC Bournemouth in a crucial match. The equaliser came late for the visitors when Erling Haaland managed to score in stoppage time after taking advantage of a rebound. However, this goal proved insufficient to change the outcome. With this final result and the 82 points accumulated by Arsenal compared to 78 for City, the Gunners were able to celebrate their fourteenth crown and reaffirm their status as kings of English football after more than two decades.
