An agreement that redefines the future of Más Madrid
The political formation Más Madrid has managed to overcome its recent internal crisis by reaching a consensus that will allow it to present a single list for the upcoming primaries of the Assembly of Madrid. This agreement, which was formalised after intense negotiations, positions the Minister of Health, Mónica García, as the main candidate.
Mónica García, who had already expressed her intention to run again for the regional presidency in 2027, will lead this unified list. Her candidacy is considered crucial in the current political context, where she is expected to face the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, in a decisive electoral contest.
The agreement has also led to a significant restructuring within the party. The deputy spokesperson in the Assembly, Emilio Delgado, although relegated to the third position on this new list, remains an important figure within the team. In second place is Manuela Bergerot, the current spokesperson in the Assembly, reflecting an effort to integrate diverse sensitivities within the party.
