A New Horizon in Alcalá de Henares

The city of Alcalá de Henares is about to undergo a significant transformation with the start of construction for its first residential skyscraper. This ambitious project, which will feature 28 floors, promises not only to change the urban landscape but also to provide an innovative housing solution in the Community of Madrid.

Developed by the renowned companies Ten Brinke and Invesco Real Estate, the building will include more than 300 rental homes. The variety in unit types will cater to different tenant profiles, from families to young professionals seeking more compact and flexible options. Additionally, premium apartments are planned to elevate the residential offering in the area.

The commitment to sustainability is one of the fundamental pillars of the project. According to Jörg Tiggemann, CEO of Ten Brinke in Spain and Portugal, this development will be executed under ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) criteria, ensuring a focus on energy efficiency and the use of environmentally friendly materials. “This project reflects the commitment we share with Invesco to promote innovative and sustainable residential developments,” stated Tiggemann.

Alcalá de Henares has been identified as one of the fastest-growing cities within the Madrid metropolitan area. The arrival of the skyscraper not only represents an architectural advancement but also an opportunity to revitalize the local economy through job creation during its construction and subsequent operation. Fernando San Juan, Senior Director of Investments for Spain and Portugal at Invesco Real Estate, highlighted that this partnership continues to grow and underscores the potential to invest in ambitious residential projects.

As construction begins in the coming weeks, both residents and investors are eager to see what this new milestone will mean for Alcalá. With a clear focus on innovation and architectural quality, this skyscraper could become a benchmark not only locally but also regionally.
