More opportunities for the little ones
The Community of Madrid has decided to take a further step in its commitment to keep the Christmas spirit alive among the youngest. Starting today, one thousand new appointments have been added to the agenda of the popular service 012 Reyes Magos, which allows children to video call Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar. This initiative, which has captured the hearts of thousands of families, will be available until January 5.
Since the call for appointments opened on December 23, more than 2,000 children have already booked their turn to enjoy this magical experience. The opportunity to speak with their favourite characters not only fosters joy in Madrid households but also reinforces the community spirit during these festivities.
Those interested in participating must request an appointment through the official event website. The conversations are scheduled to last approximately five minutes and will take place every day between 12:00 and 15:00 hours, as well as between 16:00 and 20:00 hours. However, there are important exceptions: the service will close on January 1, while on the last day, January 5, it will operate only until 15:00 hours.
Starting this Friday, a new option will be available for families who wish to avoid waiting online. They can go directly to the Registration Office located at Calle Carretas, 4, where they will find digital screens ready to connect them with their favourite Wise Man without the need for an appointment. This in-person service will also operate under similar hours to the virtual system.
The schedule for these walk-in video calls will also be between 12:00 and 15:00 hours, and then again from 16:00 to 20:00 hours. However, it is important to note that on special days like December 31, they will be available until 18:00 hours, while access on the last day will be limited until 15:00 hours.
As the magical date of January 5 approaches, Madrid is preparing to welcome thousands of families eager to experience this unique opportunity. The combination of technology and tradition promises to make this Christmas unforgettable for all little dreamers.
