The incident occurred when, for reasons still unknown, a canister of pepper spray was activated inside the venue, prompting a swift evacuation and urgent medical attention for those affected. Health services attended to nine people in total, but six required transfer to the Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón due to respiratory difficulties. Among those transferred was a man in serious condition who was taken by ambulance, along with two other men who also exhibited respiratory issues. Three more were discharged after receiving medical care. Local authorities have confirmed that the alleged perpetrator of the use of pepper spray was arrested by the National Police, who are now leading the investigation into this concerning incident. The rapid response of emergency services and the collaboration between Civil Protection and police forces facilitated the evacuation of the venue and the safe transfer of the victims.
