Adif has begun the process with a project aimed at connecting Humanes with Illescas, in Toledo, through new railway infrastructure. The project includes the construction of a second electrified track between Humanes and Illescas and involves an initial investment of €2.6 million to draft the necessary project before the start of construction. The renovation will encompass a new passenger building featuring a modern hall and two renovated platforms protected by canopies. Additionally, an underpass with an elevator will be installed to facilitate access to the platforms.
