A new chapter for Santiago Bernabéu

Real Madrid has taken a significant step in its strategy to maximise revenues from the Santiago Bernabéu stadium by reclaiming control of the exclusive "Sky Bar". This decision, authorised by the Commercial Court, brings to an end a lengthy legal process that had kept the white entity and its fans in suspense.

The Insolvency Administration of Anastasia Gourmet Hostelería, the company that initially managed the VIP space, has reached an agreement that has been positively evaluated by creditors and the court itself. This pact not only resolves existing legal controversies but also returns to the club one of the most coveted assets of the new Bernabéu.

With an area of approximately 700 square metres, the Sky Bar is designed to offer a premium experience with spectacular views of the pitch. With a capacity for around 200 VIP seats, this space is set to become a key point in the gastronomic and entertainment offerings of the renovated stadium.

Projections indicate that the Sky Bar could generate up to 30 million euros annually. This income would come not only from events related to matches but also from corporate activities and exclusive services throughout the year. The recovery of the space is an integral part of the club's plan to transform its business model into a more sustainable and profitable one.

Despite the initial difficulties with Anastasia Gourmet Hostelería, where millions in unpaid debts and financial tensions accumulated, Real Madrid has seen its stadium-related revenues quadruple since the renovation. This season is expected to close with over 400 million euros generated through various sources such as ticketing, hospitality, and special events.

The recovery of the Sky Bar reinforces Real Madrid's strategic vision to compete in an increasingly challenging sports environment. With state-backed clubs supported by sovereign capital and American sports franchises dominating the market, the white club aims to position itself as a leader in premium experiences and sustainable revenue generation.
