The National and Municipal Police have shut down a drug distribution centre in a residence in the district. A man has been arrested and has been remanded in custody.
A joint operation between the National Police and the Municipal Police has led to the closure of a drug dealing point in Puente de Vallecas, one of the most emblematic districts of Madrid. The action took place on June 25 after months of investigation that began at the start of the same month. During this time, officers observed unusual movement in a residence, where several people were entering and leaving quickly, which raised their suspicions about illicit activities.

As a result of the operation, authorities arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health. Following his arrest, he was brought before a judge and is currently in provisional custody while legal proceedings against him progress.
