Ten youths have been arrested in Valdemoro following a series of violent assaults targeting minors. Investigations by the Civil Guard revealed an alarming pattern of violence that has left several teenagers with serious injuries. One of the most shocking incidents occurred when a minor was lured by his ex-partner, who called him to talk. Upon leaving his house, he found himself surrounded by a hooded group that began to beat him without warning. During the attack, the group not only assaulted the minor but also threatened him with death and attempted to steal his mobile phone.
This episode took place in December 2025 and was subsequently reported by the victim to the authorities. The initial investigation pointed towards a possible "love vendetta," as it was discovered that the ex-girlfriend of the assaulted was recording the attack in real-time via a video call.
The climate of insecurity continued when, weeks later, another group of teenagers attacked a young man in a local park with the clear intention of stealing his bicycle. This second attack was equally violent; the victim suffered the breaking of three teeth and required medical attention due to the injuries sustained during the assault.
The arrests were the result of months of investigative work by the Armed Institute, who fully identified those involved as part of a multi-ethnic group with criminal records related to similar offenses. According to sources close to the case, four of the detainees had previously been involved in violent incidents.
The situation has generated growing concern among local residents about safety on their streets. The community is demanding more preventive measures to protect young people and prevent future violent episodes like these. In response, local authorities are considering increasing police presence in critical areas where these attacks have been reported.
Parents are urged to be vigilant and maintain open conversations with their children about personal safety and how to act in dangerous situations. Additionally, it is recommended to use safe routes when moving around Valdemoro and to avoid isolated or poorly lit places, especially during night hours.
