Pérez not only focused on the imminent offer but also addressed the current situation of the club. He proudly stated that Real Madrid is considered the most valuable club in the world, with an estimated worth of 10 billion euros, according to data from Forbes. This assertion underscores the club's dominant position not only in financial terms but also in revenue and sporting success.
Throughout the interview, Pérez emphasised what he sees as a coordinated campaign to destabilise Real Madrid. He mentioned certain individuals both inside and outside the club who seek to undermine his leadership. In particular, he criticised those linked to the board during what he calls the “darkest period” of the club between 2006 and 2009.
Pérez also confirmed the signings of players like Konaté and Denzel Dumfries but made it clear that his focus is on this new global star. Although he did not reveal specific names, he did provide clues about the player's profile: he is neither a goalkeeper nor a defender and does not play in the Premier League. This mystery has sparked speculation among fans about who the chosen one might be.
Apart from strategic moves in the transfer market, Florentino expressed his desire to return the club's economic control to its members. His vision is clear: he wants the 100,000 members to be the true economic owners of Real Madrid, contrasting with accusations against Enrique Riquelme regarding possible intentions to sell.
