A Unique Gastronomic Celebration
On 15th May, Madrid is preparing for one of its most emblematic festivities, San Isidro, with an event that promises to delight both locals and visitors alike. This year, the city will offer a free distribution of cocido madrileño, a tradition that highlights the rich culinary heritage of the Spanish capital.
Unlike previous years, where the cocido was served in the usual meadow, this year the meeting point will be Plaza Fuente del Trébol, located in the Abrantes neighbourhood within the Carabanchel district. From 14:30 to 16:30, attendees will be able to enjoy this delicious food outdoors.
Access to the event is completely free and no prior registration is required, allowing all interested parties to participate without complications. However, the organisation has not yet specified how many portions will be available, so a large turnout is expected during the designated hours.
