In his words, he highlighted the pride of belonging to a "great Madridista family" and recalled how he has worked tirelessly to ensure that the club remains in the hands of its members. "I have guaranteed 147 million euros to ensure payment to players and suppliers," he stated, reaffirming his commitment to transparency and democracy within the club.
The candidate also addressed the criticisms received during his management, emphasising that under his leadership, 66 titles have been won, including seven European Cups. "No one has won more in history," he declared firmly. Additionally, he harshly criticised the tactics used by his opponents during this electoral campaign: "They use our shirt to shame the members," he said, referring to the recent scandal related to transfer rumours.
Pérez promised to pay special attention to those unpaid members and reiterated his fight against ticket reselling alongside the relevant authorities. His goal is to ensure that recovered memberships are allocated to those who have been waiting for an opportunity to attend the stadium.
Closing his speech, Florentino Pérez urged all Madridistas to vote: "The owners of the club are us, the members. Let us move together towards a future where we defend what is ours."
