A farewell full of gratitude and memories
Robert Lewandowski, the prominent Polish forward, has decided to end his time at FC Barcelona after four years of success and intense emotions. In a moving video posted on his social media, Lewandowski reflected on his time at the club, where he became a key figure since his arrival from Bayern Munich in 2022.
Throughout his career with the Blaugrana, Lewandowski has played a total of 191 matches, scoring an impressive 119 goals and providing 24 assists. His contribution to the team is not only measured in statistics; he has also been instrumental in helping Barça win seven trophies, including three national championships and one Copa del Rey. However, one of his most cherished dreams, the Champions League, has eluded him during his stay.
In his farewell message, Lewandowski expressed: “After four years full of challenges and hard work, the time has come to move on. I leave with the feeling of having fulfilled my mission.” The player also highlighted the affection he received from the fans: “I will never forget the love they have shown me since my first days. Catalonia is my place in the world.”
Not only the fans have expressed their gratitude towards him; Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, received heartfelt words from the forward: “Thank you to everyone I have met during these four wonderful years. A special thanks to President Laporta for giving me the opportunity to live the most incredible chapter of my career.” This recognition underscores the importance Lewandowski had in returning the club to the path of success.

Culer forever.” Additionally, Hansi Flick, former coach of Bayern Munich and current German national team manager, commented on the player's professionalism: “It has been a privilege to work with him; he is a great professional and a role model.”
