These modifications are part of the works that Adif is carrying out at Atocha station, which has significantly affected travellers trying to reach their jobs in the capital.
From early on, the platforms were packed, and many users reported having left home earlier to avoid setbacks. However, they found themselves in an even more complicated situation. "This is no way to go to work," some affected individuals expressed while recording the long queues and the lack of space to move.
